As a safety precaution, we wanted to fireproof our van's electrical mount (since it is made of plywood), so we bought and tested some intumescent paint to see the results. Intumescent paint works as a 2 part system; base coat and topcoat, and we also wanted to test how each one individually reacts when exposed to fire as well.
